HMG and WLO shall jointly establish “the World Leisure EXPO Committee” (hereinafter “the EXPO Committee”).
The EXPO Committee will consist of 7 members: three (3) members from WLO, three (3) members from HMG, and a chairperson appointed on a five (5)- year basis with the position to be rotated between HMG and WLO. HMG will appoint the first chairperson starting in 2012. This will be followed in the second term by an individual from WLO. The 5-year term of the chairperson position will be rotated between HMG and WLO.
The travel, meal and accommodation expenses of the three WLO officials in the EXPO Committee occurred while they fulfill their duties as Committee members shall be covered by the annual payment HMG made to WLO.
To show its good faith, HMG agrees to provide WLO with partial travel subsidies, which cover part of the expenses of the three WLO representatives in the EXPO Committee for attending the events of direct relevance to the future EXPOs. The events include the working meetings, forums and related activities recognized by HMG, and the promotion occasions in Mainland China, which the representatives attend upon the invitation from HMG. Once the amount of the subsidies is confirmed, HMG will agree to make the payment to WLO Secretariat, which might based on the work plan of the current year. Specified payments procedures would be finalized through discussions of both sides.
For the convenience of operation, the EXPO Committee is to establish the World Leisure EXPO Office (hereinafter “the EXPO Office”). HMG shall be responsible for providing the venue, staffing and raising the funds for the office work. |
