Grand Leisure Stage, the major project of the Second World Leisure Expo in Xianghu Park, held its closing ceremony on November 17th, 2011. Zhang Jianting, Vice Mayor of Hangzhou attended the ceremony and declared its closing.
This project, being the core project of this Leisure Expo, invited 45 performing groups, 1312 actors from 24 countries and regions, together with 25 domestic groups, altogether 2190 actors, to give 220 stage performances and square performances. 55 million visitors from home and abroad enjoyed this wonderful leisure and cultural artistic feast. Each performance on the stage was like a show of international carnival, conveying the joy of all countries and developing friendship among people from different regions. Because of its bright national characteristics and the fine arts, this cultural and artistic event has become the major attraction of the Second World Leisure Expo. |
