The opening ceremony of Conference on International Exchange and Cooperation of Professionals (Hangzhou China, 2011) was held in Yellow Dragon Hotel. Over 2000 professionals from home and abroad gathered to exchange ideas on overseas talents coming back to China to start their business.

Oriented towards overseas professionals with an intention to start business in Zhejiang, the conference adhered to the theme of 'exchange, cooperation, innovation and pioneering', stuck to the principles of 'standing high with an international background and seeking actual effects by establishing brands', and followed the requirements of 'open, win-win, economical and pragmatic' in terms of organization, aiming to enhance the competitive strengthen of the talents in Hangzhou and promote the transition, upgrading and innovation of the local economy.

At the fair of oversea talents' projects for technical cooperation, 460 overseas professionals came with 520 projects to seek for possible cooperation. At last, over 200 projects reached an agreement, 50 of which were signed right on the spot, with a total of 1,223 billion RMB. Meantime, 17 overseas professionals from such countries and regions as Europe, North America, Australia, Japan and Singapore were hired on a two-year engagement as consultants for future overseas talents who are willing to come back and work in Zhejiang.
